Major and Anticipated Graduation Date: Mechanical Engineering, Spring 2024

Academic Background: I’ve always wanted to pursue engineering and knew I wanted to get my bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, although it’s taken me a bit to get here. After obtaining my associate’s degree at Gateway Community College in New Haven, I transferred to UConn in the fall of 2021. I’m a big fan of the community college system in Connecticut. I think they offer a great pathway for those wanting to get an associate’s degree before moving on to their bachelor’s or for those that just want to fill in some pre-requisite requirements before transferring to a 4-year university.

Research Interests: My passion for engineering lies in machines and the design process behind them. Technology is such a huge part of our lives and I’m interested in finding ways to make it better.

Interests/Hobbies: Outside of school, I love to read and watch movies. Over the past year, I’ve been trying to visit the recreation center more and make use of all the health resources that campus has to offer. I’m also the Vice President of the Disney Club at UConn, and I love to interact with people who have similar interests.
