Academic background: I am a senior majoring in Biomedical Engineering.
Research Interests: I am interested in pursuing research in musculoskeletal disorders and neuroscience. I am currently a student research assistant in Dr. Lykotrafitis’ cellular biomechanics laboratory, studying the effects of different neurologic drugs on the axon initial segment of neurons.
Professional Experience: This past summer, I was a research intern at Potentiometric Probes, where I assisted with voltage recordings of action potentials in 3D human iPSC-derived cardiomyocyte spheroids for drug testing.
Interests/hobbies: I love reading, traveling, going to the beach, and watercolor painting.
