Biomedical Engineering & Nutritional Sciences

Academic Background: I’m pursuing a dual degree in Nutritional Sciences and Biomedical Engineering (on the Computational and Systems Biology Track). I also have minors in Anthropology of Global Health and Computer Science and am on the pre-med track!

 Research Interests: As a researcher at the Agmon Lab at UConn Health, I work on building computational multi-scale models of the human gut, specifically considering effects of dietary intake on bacterial metabolism. Professional Experience: I spend much of my time outside of academics shadowing at Yale New Haven Hospital, volunteering with UConn Health Leaders, and working as an EMT.

Interests/Hobbies: In my free time, I enjoy attending spin classes at the Rec, being outdoors, and overspending on coffee.
